Chemspec Europe 2017: Premier fine and speciality chemicals exhibition returns to Munich with a strong lineup

Chemspec Europe is the International Exhibition for Fine and Speciality Chemicals. It is the key industry platform for manufacturers, suppliers and distributors of fine and speciality chemicals to showcase their latest products, services and research findings to a dedicated audience of industry experts. This year’s show will take place from 31 May – 1 June 2017 at the Munich Trade Fair Centre.

The previous Chemspec Europe 2016 in Basel registered an increase of 7 % in exhibition space and 30 % in visitor numbers compared to the year before. Looking at the current booking figures for Munich, Chemspec Europe 2017 is set to continue its success story: Three months before the start of the exhibition, a total of 321 exhibitors from 24 countries have already secured their stand space at this year’s event. Amongst those confirmed are Albemarle, Arkema France, CABB Group, Charles River, Chevron Phillips Chemicals, Evonik, Johnson Matthey, Kemira, Lonza, Merck, Solvay, Sumitomo Chemical Europe, Tosoh Europe, Wacker Chemie, and many more.

Free-to-attend conferences

Chemspec Europe works with partner organisations to host various conferences on a wide range of subjects – from regulatory to pharma outsourcing to current market trends and developments. All conferences are free to attend, offering first-class content and excellent networking opportunities. Munich – a key location for Europe’s chemical industries

For Chemspec Europe 2017, the show makes a return to Munich which already hosted the event in 2008 and 2013. Munich is located in Bavaria which is a key location for the German chemicals industry.
