AgroFOOD Industry Hi Tech

The Martin Bauer Group’s new product concept, “LET THE TASTE GROW”, developed by its Plantextrakt business unit, will be unveiled for the first time at drinktec 2017 in September. The focus of the concept’s presentation will be on creative ideas for natural, sustainable beverages.

More and more consumers are looking for natural ingredients, sustainable raw materials and individual taste experiences when choosing which drinks to buy. The Martin Bauer Group has sought to meet this demand with its Plantextrakt business unit.  In Munich this September at drinktec 2017, Plantextrakt will be presenting a creative product concept made up of natural herbal and tea-based creations in a range of exciting flavors.

Oliver Hehn, Marketing Manager at Plantextrakt, emphasizes: “‘LET THE TASTE GROW’ will allow us to show the trade fair visitors the vast scope of our expertise in tea and herbal products, as well as showcase our wealth of ideas. Our product concept encompasses this.” Those that are interested will be able to sample selected products right at the Plantextrakt stand.

TOP-QUALITY RAW MATERIALS AND A WIDE RANGE OF PRODUCTS

With “LET THE TASTE GROW” the focus is on diversity, which is reflected in the many different options for combining the extracts. Oliver Hehn adds that “nature and its enormous variety of plants form the foundation of our product ideas. Basically, the sky is the limit.” Plantextrakt’s natural tea and herb extracts can be combined not only with traditional beverages, but also with milk, juice and cereal bases. The raw materials that Plantextrakt uses for the extracts come from 50+ different countries. Plantextrakt has been certified in accordance with numerous international standards, which is reflected in the new product concept that acknowledges the general increase in awareness of sustainability-that the origin of the raw materials can be traced.

CONSCIOUS ENJOYMENT

When it comes to functional products, such as energy drinks and other beverages that aim to promote relaxation or mental wellbeing, Plantextrakt is also aware of the trend towards being more health-conscious. Therefore high-protein foods are carefully combined with selected extracts to create functional drinks.

BEER ALTERNATIVES AND INNOVATIVE DRINKS

Changes in end consumer behavior often lead to changes in the types of beverages offered. For example, because beer consumption is dropping worldwide, the industry is currently seeking good alternatives. Plantextrakt has reacted to this and will be exhibiting a range of interesting craft beer beverages at drinktec 2017.
