3^rd Future of formulations  in cosmetics

The 3^rd edition of the Future of Formulations in Cosmetics has just closed its doors in a sunny and warm Barcelona.

It has attracted some 60 between attendees and speakers from all pathways of the cosmetic industry, including suppliers of raw materials and manufacturers of finished goods.

This year’s event was sponsored by Sappi, Bicosome, Global Bioenergies and Dow/Dow Corning and organised with the partnership of the Beauty Cluster Barcelona, Sociedad Espanola de Quimicos Cosmeticos, Perfumery and Cosmetic Association of Russia and the Polish Association of Cosmetic and Detergent Industry.

The Programme Organising Committee was formed by Paolo Camattari (Oriflame), John Jimenez (Belcorp), Katalin Berenyi (Erborian, L’Occitane Group), Agnes Yousri (Ales Groupe) and Andrea Mitarotonda (Neal’s Yard Remedies).

The Congress saw two intense days of exchange covering different topics of the cosmetic industry including regulatory updates, skin protection, active ingredients, microbiome, trends, sensory and green cosmetics.
