This article will try to foresee the future scenario.

After months of ugly and nerve-wracking campaigning, Americans have chosen Donald Trump as their 45th president.

We don’t want to do any sort of vote analysis here, actually we gladly leave it to the mass media, which have thoroughly and intensely covered both the pre-vote and post-vote phases. As a publisher dealing with the chemical industry, a truly global business, we are interested in understanding the foreseeable future scenario for the sectors our journals cover (Pharma, Personal Care, Cosmetics, Cleansing, Nutraceuticals).

Forecasts are always hard to make and it is certainly early to provide answers now.

However, one thing is certainly clear: Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are indeed two worlds apart and their strategies to support business are very different.
