Abstract
Necessary considerations for the establishmentof a quality-managed RT-PCR workflow for the analysis ofdifferential gene expression are introduced. Relevant qualitymanagement systems are considered and a basic workprogramme for the implementation of a laboratory qualitymanagement system in conformance with ISO 17025 isdiscussed. A general methodology for the implementation ofpreventive measures for laboratory processes is presented.
