The European Fine Chemicals Group (EFCG)- a sector group within Cefic– the influential European Chemical Industry Council basedin Brussels - was formed in 2004 to become the forum, the focus and the voice for European Fine Chemicals Manufacturers.It manages its members’ concerns by:Helping them to fight for their futureGenerating a stronger voice through collective actionEnsuring society better understands its role and valueCreating a more level playing field on laws and enforcementConvincing politicians and regulators to identify with its agenda Delivering a sustainable, competitive and innovative Fine Chemicals industryEFCG is driven by issues affecting its members in all fine chemicals markets but especially in the pharmaceuticaland agrochemical supply chains.
