Dr. Diane Bilodeau earned a Ph.D. in physiology from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montreal (Canada) and a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Quebec in Montreal (Canada).
On top of ten years of basic research experience in the fields of cancer, angiogenesis, and inflammation, at major academic centers in Canada and the USA, including Yale University (CT, USA) and The Scripps Research Institute (CA, USA), Dr. Bilodeau also cumulates more than 13 years of experience within the biotechnology industry.
In 2001, Dr. Bilodeau joined Atrium Innovations where she provided scientific support to the development of new products first for the Health and Nutrition division then, as a scientific director, for the Active Ingredients & Specialty Chemicals division.
Since 2008, Dr. Bilodeau has been working freelance, creating her own consulting firm, CosmeConsult, which offers scientific support to product development.
Her areas of expertise include all aspects of skin physiology, protein biochemistry, biologically active ingredients and their cosmetic applications. Dr. Bilodeau loves communicating and is an active scientific writer and speaker.
