Neus Bonavida was born and raised in Catalunya, Spain, in 1981. She studied Chemistry and Food Science and Technology in Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
In 2007 she moved to the Netherlands to join FrieslandCampina, company with which she has been working during the last years holding positions in product development, product management and technical sales for business to business. In these roles, she has focused on the dairy protein portfolio of FrieslandCampina Ingredients DMV which is connected to several areas of applications such as high protein concepts, dairy and processed cheese.
At the moment she is working at the marketing department in FrieslandCampina Ingredients DMV, Amersfoort, the Netherlands, where she is responsible to give technical guidance to customers in formulating and producing food products with dairy proteins, which are used because of their unique functionality and nutritional benefits. In this role, she translates technical know-how into business opportunities, technical market documentation and customer value.
Neus closely works with the application technologists and development team in FrieslandCampina’s Innovation Center in Wageningen (Food Valley) from where customers are supported with recipe development and optimization with an extensive dairy protein and application know-how.
