Univar Expands Agreement with Dow for Distribution of Personal Care Ingredients into Central and Eastern Europe

Univar Inc. (“Univar”), a global chemical distributor and provider of value-added services, announced today it has expanded its long-standing European distribution agreement for The Dow Chemical Company’s (NYSE: DOW) personal care ingredients to now include Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Hercegovina and Serbia.

On July 1 2016, Univar will begin marketing and selling the full range of Dow’s legacy personal care specialty ingredients in Eastern Europe. Matthew Ottaway, Personal Care Industry Director Europe, Middle-East, Africa, Univar says: “Dow’s innovative personal care ingredients are a strong complement to our existing portfolio of basic chemicals and speciality products and will help us to further our total solution approach to personal care and meet the ever-changing consumer and market demands.”
