HPC Today

ROELMI HPC, a leader in high-performance, eco-friendly ingredient solutions, today released its latest voluntary Social Report for the seventh consecutive year as part of its Nature is People (NIP®) program — a strategic framework integrating sustainability into every aspect of its business.

The report highlights the company’s progress in environmental stewardship, innovation, and social responsibility, reflecting a long-standing commitment aligned with the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

“We believe sustainability is not just a philosophical concept but the foundation of every decision we make,” said Rosella Malanchin, CEO of ROELMI HPC. “With today’s report we reaffirm our responsibility to people, nature, and tomorrow’s generations.”

A FRAMEWORK BUILT ON THREE PILLARS

The NIP® Program is structured around three-core pillars e:

  • Nature: ROELMI HPC focuses on producing ingredients with a reduced environmental footprint and educates stakeholders on sustainable choices that reduce energy dependence in the production cycle.
  • Innovation: Investment in advanced technologies and high-performing components ensures products meet rigorous sustainability and efficiency standards.
  • People: The Company prioritizes health and safety, equal opportunities in the workplace, and continuous engagement of staff in sustainability best practices.

The program permeates daily corporate culture, encouraging every team member to contribute to ethical, socially responsible, and environmentally friendly outcomes.

CONCRETE ACTIONS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

ROELMI HPC’s sustainability efforts documented in the report encompass:

  • Development of safe, high-performance ingredients that support health, beauty, and wellbeing across global markets.
  • Promotion of gender equality and inclusive workplaces, with more than half of managerial roles held by women.
  • Initiatives to reduce energy waste, including hybrid vehicle adoption, solar thermal installations, and the substitution of plastics with biodegradable alternatives where feasible.
  • Continuous collaboration with government bodies and research centers to stay aligned with emerging sustainability science and regulatory frameworks.
