One year ago, it was December 2015, Honeywell acquired different brands and chemical products by Sigma Aldrich. What are the lghts and shadows you would like to highlight for the past year?
The acquisition of part of Sigma-Aldrich’s laboratory research chemicals portfolio in 2015 saw us launch a new company and finalize our product portfolio, which now consists of several strong brands. However, in order to be able to serve our customers with these products, it was important to ensure we had a robust infrastructure in place to fulfil on what we set out to deliver- a big challenge for any new company. We undertook the task of establishing seven distribution centers – to house over ten thousand SKUs, as well putting our go-to-market support in place. We signed up more than 200 partners, as well as worldwide customer service, field and telesales teams and launched a new website – no mean feat for just 12 months in business.
