Vytrus Biotech, the company specialized in active ingredients derived from plant stem cells for the cosmetic industry, has been evaluated for the first time and recognized by EcoVadis with the 2020 Silver Medal for its good practices in terms of sustainability, actions, processes, and Corporate Social Responsibility systems.
The biotech company has stood out in the areas of the environment, and labor practices and human rights. These aspects have made the company deserving of the Silver Medal for its achievements in sustainability, a score achieved only by the 25% of the companies evaluated worldwide.
This worldwide recognition provides a reliable assessment of Vytrus Biotech’s CSR and represents a guarantee of high quality for partners and customers. The organization attaches importance to sustainability issues, for that reason, its challenge is to achieve a leadership position in the sector, improving the scores obtained in the next evaluations.
According to Albert Jané, CEO, COO, and co-founder of Vytrus Biotech: “This recognition represents a great pride for the company, which has placed sustainability at the heart of the business since its conception. It is the result of the effort made by the entire Vytrus team, committed to this core value of our strategy”.
