The WIN Board Seeks to Fill Two Seats as Organization Continues to Expand

CHANDLER, Ariz. – December 15, 2025 – Women In Nutraceuticals (WIN), the non-profit spearheaded by a cohort of global nutraceutical leaders, is announcing that the Nominating Committee of the WIN Board of Directors is accepting applications for two Board of Directors positions.

Elected directors will serve a two-year term commencing in April 2026. There are two Director positions to be filled.

Men and women serving in the nutraceutical space are encouraged to apply by 11:59 pm EST on January 30, 2026. All applications must be submitted through the WIN portal. Candidates must be current WIN members to apply.

Candidates will have the opportunity to influence WIN’s mission and promote diversity by participating in upcoming events that inform member decisions.

Elections will be held between March 23 and April 6, 2026.

The Nominating Committee and Board of Directors will use the guidelines below in their consideration of candidates.

Criteria for Candidate Selection:

• Qualifications: Evaluate candidates based on skills, experience, and specific expertise (e.g., fundraising, networking, legal, grant writing, etc.).
• Diversity and Inclusion: Strive for demographic, regional, and professional diversity to enrich board perspectives.
• Commitment: Assess the candidate’s capacity to contribute actively through meetings, events, and initiatives, with a minimum availability of 75 percent of board meetings per year. Candidates must understand that, at this point, WIN is a working board; that they must be willing to roll up their sleeves and actively engage in achieving WIN’s objectives.
• Alignment with Values: Ensure candidates share WIN’s core values, mission, and strategic vision.
• Leadership Potential: Prioritize candidates with strategic thinking and collaboration skills.
• Network: Evaluate potential to recruit new members and sponsors.
• Active Involvement: Prioritize candidates who demonstrate understanding of and involvement in women’s issues in nutraceuticals or the allied sector.
• Non-Profit Board Experience Preferred.
• Candidates must be a WIN member.

Candidates are encouraged to speak with current board members about their experiences and expectations for serving on the WIN Board.

Timeline for 2026 Election

• Applications due by January 30, 2026.
• Applications reviewed by the nominating committee February 1-19, 2026.
• Nominees to be presented to the WIN board for approval by February 20, 2026
• Nominees communicated to membership by February 27, 2026.
• Nominee campaign events scheduled over February 27- March 23, 2026.
• Election commences March 23, 2026, and concludes April 6, 2026
• Election results are announced by April 13, 2026.
• New officers will be inducted on April 24, 2026, at the annual meeting.
