Evonik’s Dr. Straetmans brand goes minimalistic and naturally multipurpose

At this year’s in-cosmetics global in Amsterdam, Evonik Dr. Straetmans will be introducing an inspiring marketing concept, supported by their deep formulation know-how. This concept is based on the ongoing trend of a minimalistic lifestyle, adapted for the world of natural cosmetics. It shows how elegant natural cosmetic products can be formulated with only ten ingredients and how to create exciting textures with fascinating sensorial experiences with no compromise in efficacy. A first look into this new concept will be introduced during the Formulation Lab session.

The dermosoft® decalact range and the beauty in its multipurpose efficacy will be one of the main topics during the exhibition.

Evonik Dr. Straetmans developed the dermosoft® decalact range, a line of four multipurpose and natural active ingredients with selected activity against specific microorganisms that cause different skin disorders such as dandruff, body odor or oily, blemish-prone skin. Visitors can learn more about it during the Technical Seminar.

Another highlight will be the display of trendy and innovative formulations at the sensory bar presenting the Fruity Beauty Concept with three natural formulations containing valuable and skin nourishing ingredients.

Almost one year has passed since Dr. Straetmans has become part of the Personal Care Business Line of Evonik Industries. “Already in this first year it has become evident that Evonik’s ‘Power to create’ and Dr. Straetmans’ ‘Intelligence behind beauty’ perfectly fit together to spark the development of exciting new concepts and raw materials for the cosmetic industry”, says Dr. Jan Jänichen.
