SILAB – Skin immunity in the spotlight to celebrate 40 years of innovation

Founded by Jean Paufique in 1984, SILAB is an independent French company that develops, manufactures and markets safe, patented, natural active ingredients of proven efficacy for the major names in the global cosmetics and dermo-cosmetics industry.

In 2024, SILAB celebrates its 40th anniversary! On this occasion, on April 15, on the eve of in-cosmetics Global 2024, SILAB invited its customers to a scientific seminar dedicated to skin immunity.

A robust cutaneous expertise guided by major scientific revolutions

For 4 decades, SILAB has been guided by a strong strategy of anticipation and audacious choices aimed at continually surprising the market and meeting its expectations. This strategy is reflected in the company’s scientific expertise, through the constant acquisition of new skills and specific tools.




Immunity: a key player in skin dynamics

SILAB’s research considers the skin as an organ in perpetual interaction with its ecosystem. Within this ecosystem, immunity plays a key role, since it is involved in numerous processes such as regeneration, inflammation, senescence and barrier function. During this seminar, three experts shared their research work on this subject:
