Abstract

Platinum- and gold-catalyzed cycloisomerization reactionshave become an increasingly important field of researchfor molecular organic chemists. A major focus of thisgrowing awareness is the discovery of chiral catalyticsystems that enable to prepare enantiomerically pureelaborated structures starting from simple materials. Therecent advances implying chiral platinum- and gold-basedsystems with 1,3-, 1,6- and 1,5 enynes, in the presenceor absence of internal and external nucleophiles arehighlighted herein.
