The detergent industry is aware of the primary role of its products, to remove dirt while ensuring proper hygiene. That is why it is necessary to pay the utmost attention to product performance and safety.
At the same time, this overriding need for efficiency and effectiveness goes hand in hand with a strong focus on environmental protection.

 

To face with climate change and environmental degradation, the European Commission launched the European Green Deal that aims to transform the EU into a modern, resource-efficient and competitive economy, reducing greenhouse gases emission, ensuring economic growth without excessive use of resources and taking care of social sustainability.

 

All 27 EU Member States committed to turning the EU into the first climate neutral continent by 2050. To get there, they pledged to reduce emissions by at least 55% by 2030, compared to 1990 levels.

 

One of the main building blocks of this strategy is the new circular economy action plan (CEAP).
