Abstract

Italian, Japanese, American and French cosmetologists will meet from 7 to 8 June 2023 in Italy to experience two days of scientific confrontation and meeting, at last in the presence, of eminent personalities of international cosmetology.
IPCE (Intercontinental Personal Care Excellence Conference) is an experienced meeting formula that through lectures, discussions, and a wide range of posters, guarantees indispensable scientific updates in a friendly networking atmosphere, this year in Sardinia, Villasimius (CA).
Why this meeting is an opportunity for the comestic community today?

Dr. Mignini, we are at the 2023 edition of IPCE, an event that acts as a bridge between the USA and ASIA in which Italy, but I would say Europe, with SICC acts as a connecting pillar. Can you remind us how this event was born and what is the goal of the 2023 edition? What topics will it address?
The idea of organizing an event of high scientific value, which would involve continental areas engaged in strategic competition of personal care, has emerged at a meeting between members of the Italian, American and Japanese Executive Boards in 2016.

SICC, the Italian Society of Cosmetology, has always been in favor of an integration between research models in the most committed Nations in cosmetic science; this is also one of the most important objectives of the World Federation (IFSCC) to promote inter-zonal dissemination and training in cosmetic science to students and Junior cosmetologists.
