ZETEMOL AL, Myristyl Lactate, is produced from a high quality pure grade of bio-fermented lactic acid and Myristylic alcohol (RSPO sourced), moreover it is COSMOS certificated. Its versatile characteristics make it a good solubilizer for oils and helps the dispersion of pigments. Myristyl Lactate performs on the skin a nice emollient and moisturization activity, this makes it a good sensorial ester with a good spreadability. Moreover the special chemical structure, alkyl chain with 14 carbons linked to the strong polar “head” of the lactic acid (Figure 1) leads it to do performances that goes over the classic ester’s sensorial behavior on the skin.
